While trying to outsmart our natural environment we generate a tremendous failure record and leave a heavy legacy of debt to the generations to come. Considering the past, both distant and recent, it is ridiculous to believe that nature can be conquered or tamed. Nevertheless, we don't give up. Short-term solutions are constantly being applied to quench our civilisation’s thirst to subdue and to possess. We keep forgetting that this is a predictable race, as nature is always a step ahead. Funny stuff.
