metacircle / a precise mathematical model for the creation of the universe

This full page illustration supplements Johan Carlsson’s article for the May / 2007 issue of Bulgaria’s monthly business magazine МЕНИДЖЪР., titled Does God Exist? It represents one’s personal belief on this rather elusive topic and is basically a circle expressed through a colour sequence, derived through a Cartesian coordinate system. Each of the grey lines is assigned to a point of that circle. The composition is part of a greater project called The Metafigures which aims at transforming geometrical shapes into colour compositions, i.e. transferring objects from one dimension to another.
